About the Role
Advisory Board / Strategic Investor — K-12 AI EdTech We are an AI-powered EdTech startup transforming K-12 education and seek an experienced board advisor and strategic investor who brings both capital and deep connections within the public education sector. The ideal candidate will have either (or both) of 1) a proven track record of leadership in K-12 education or EdTech, with an established network among superintendents, curriculum directors, district technology leaders, and state education departments or 2) deep connections in the venture and AI SaaS space. We’re particularly interested in individuals with experience in education technology adoption at scale and an understanding of procurement processes and funding mechanisms. As our board advisor, you will provide strategic guidance on achieving product-market fit within K-12 public schools, leverage your network to facilitate critical introductions and partnerships, and advise on navigating complex procurement cycles, education policy, and compliance requirements. If applicable to your experience, your role will also include supporting fundraising efforts through investor introductions and credibility enhancement. Compensation will be advisory shares in the company.
