Business Technical Analyst / PM
Location: Columbus, MS
Length: Very long term. Startingthru Qthen getting another project so we may possibly be able to extend another year past Q1 2025
Needs to know sprints, document user stories, etc.
DevOps environment
Some weeks will be BA work, and others will flip to PM activities. Reporting to PMO in Washington.
Knows some development - need to be able to review code
Very strong in agile
70-80% BA work
20-30% PM work
- Agile- must be familiar, NOT looking for a SCRUM master
- Must have understanding what project management is: Cost, scope, time, risk management, etc.
- 5-7 years US experience, needs to have at least 2-3 medium to large projects. Not looking for a very senior person
- Needs to be proactive and make sure everything is in order
- Needs to have basic principles of project management
- Project is New Engine Program
- Manufacturing experience. People from corporate environments have not worked out in the past. Plant is very fast paced environment. Need to screen for that. How quickly they have pivot and adapt.
- Needs real world projects, not college projects or internships
- Works experience does not count if it's outside the US
- Bachelor's degree not required- nice to have, but would need equivalent experience if they do not have degree- cannot be hired on direct if they don't have a degree

- Don't need Jira
- Be able to put decks together.
- Proficient in PowerPoint & Teams
- SharePoint architecture
- Basic tools- Microsoft suite, Visio -- heavy reporting
- PMP-preferred, not required.

- Project description: Getting a new building on site and extending assembly line by 50%. New Engine program $220M investment.
- Interviews? Initial phone screening with Larry & then round with Larry, David and one other and then final round will be a face to face possibly depending on the candidates location
- Managing lots of paperwork, reporting to PMO, and documentation, POs, tracking hours, etc.-needs to be organized.
- Interacting mostly with IT and some PM's on the ENG side

Business Technical Analyst / PM
- Define and document project scope, objectives, timelines based on user stories and associated Agile methods.
- Perform business analyst duties in Agile/Sprint Planning methodologies including user story documentation, refinement, and coordination with IT Applications team for delivery
- Identify, document, and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally
- Assist in preparing and manage a budget based on project scope, using input from IT Management
- Document and track budgetary estimations and actuals, where requested
- Work with IT Management to identify resource constraints.
- Estimate resource requirements and identify potential risks, based on user stories documentation, refinement, and available resources.
- Provide project updates to stakeholders and ITD, as required.
- Create and manage contracts/POs with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries and cost management.
- Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation like 4-squares and required documents in the Paccar project management system.
- Use the generally accepted tools and techniques for project management, including prescribed Paccar reporting documents and systems.
- Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope, and within the allocated budget.
- Manage interdepartmental coordination to ensure smooth project execution.

Preferred/Required Skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Project Management or related discipline (preferred)
Proven experience of five - seven years in managing medium to large projects (required)
Proficient in of Microsoft Office suite (required)
PMP certification (preferred)
Domain knowledge in manufacturing setting (preferred)
Proven experience in using popular project management tools such as Agile, Kanban boards, Waterfall (in terms of tollgates), etc. (required)
Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practice (required)
