Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cake Decorator located in at the Dearborn Heights, MI bakery. The Cake Decorator will be responsible for decorating whole cakes and cake slices according to company standards. Day-to-day tasks include designing and creating unique cake decorations, preparing cakes for the showcase, managing custom cake orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Skills in Bakery, Baking, and Cake Decorating
• Skill in working with fondant is preferred, but not required
• Ability to prepare whipped and buttercream toppings for cakes
• Experience in preparing and decorating cakes
• Attention to detail and creativity in decorating
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience in a bakery setting is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
