This position is ideal for someone looking to build experience in both bookkeeping and customer service within a mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities Accurately record day-to-day financial transactions using our bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar). Process accounts payable and receivable, issue invoices, and track payments. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of financial activity. Assist with preparing financial reports for management and compiling supporting documentation as needed. Help monitor and resolve discrepancies in accounts or transaction data. Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, or chat in a courteous and helpful manner. Assist with routine administrative and clerical duties, including data entry and filing. Support customer billing questions, account updates, and resolve basic issues or escalate as required. Contribute to process improvements and support other team needs as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or relevant coursework in accounting, finance, or business a plus. Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and general office procedures. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and comfortable learning new software. Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
