Hoosier Heroes is growing - and we're bringing our trusted craftsmanship to Louisville! We're looking for experienced Handyman professionals to join our expanding Field Operations team. This is a full-time, remote field-based role for detail-oriented technicians who know how to solve problems and finish jobs with excellence. Ideal candidates will be skilled in trim carpentry, framing, drywall repair, and general home maintenance. Bonus if you bring light plumbing experience - but above all, we're seeking reliable craftspeople who take pride in getting the job done right.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete detailed builder punch list and warranty tasks with craftsmanship and professionalism.
• Execute framing, trim carpentry, caulking, and general carpentry tasks.
• Repair drywall, match textures, and perform precision interior painting.
• Adjust doors, replace basic hardware, and perform general home repairs.
• Maintain communication with clients and office team to ensure high satisfaction.
• Assess damage from fire, flood, water, or other insurance-related incidents and create detailed scopes of work.
• Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized.
• Travel to project sites across the Louisville area (zip codes 40023 & 40031); gas supplement provided.

Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of experience in residential construction or handyman services.
• Skilled in framing, trim carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and general finish work.
• Bonus: Experience in light plumbing and electrical (not required, but appreciated).
• Must own a reliable truck and full set of tools.
• Self-motivated, able to manage tasks and time independently.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to high-quality work.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Schedule:

• Full-Time - Monday to Friday
• Occasional Saturdays and overtime as needed based on workload
