ABOUT THE ROLE \n
The Maintenance Mechanic A is responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and repairs on plant machinery and equipment. This role troubleshoots issues, completes preventive maintenance tasks, and contributes to a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING \n
\n - Responsible for adherence to company policies, including safety and the use of personal protective equipment.
\n - Maintain and repair plant machinery and equipment to ensure safe, efficient operation.
\n - Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
\n - Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
\n - Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
\n - Rig, move, and install equipment safely and efficiently.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR \n
\n - A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
\n - A minimum of 4 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
\n - Welding skills and certification are preferred.
\n - Skills in mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
\n - Proficient with rigging and safely handling heavy machinery and components.
\n - Ability to perform pipefitting and layout/fabrication work.
