We are looking for a temporary General Laborer for a Mattress Recycling Facility located in Pawtucket RI to start ASAP.

1 -2 day job.

Pay: $17 hourly rate

Work Environment:

• Work environment can be physically demanding.
• Safety is a major priority, requiring adherence to strict safety measures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Handling Mattresses: Stacking mattresses within the facility.
• Sorting and Disassembly: Sorting mattresses by type and condition, disassembling them to separate various components like foam, springs, and fabric.
• Operating Equipment: Operating machinery such as balers, compactors.
• Maintaining a Clean Work Area: Ensuring the facility is clean and organized by sweeping, raking, and removing debris.
• Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to all safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in a potentially hazardous environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Physical Fitness and Stamina: Required for repetitive tasks, lifting heavy objects, and prolonged standing.
• Attention to Detail: The ability to accurately identify and sort different materials.
• Manual Dexterity: Skilled use of hands for operating equipment and separating materials.
• Safety Consciousness: Understanding and following safety protocols.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Basic Mechanical Aptitude: Useful for operating and maintaining recycling equipment.
