DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Timely, efficient, and friendly delivery of grocery products to customer homes and businesses
Serve the customer in a polite, professional and upbeat manner while making deliveries.
Ability to safely navigate a delivery truck while making deliveries.
Safely maintain a planned delivery schedule with minimal exceptions and interruption to customers.
Lift and carry containers up to 50 lbs. while walking, climbing stairs, entering/exiting buildings and elevators
Capably deliver product while accurately recording route information and organizing paperwork (invoices, coupons, etc.)
Load/unload trucks and/or trailers as required
Ensure that food safety/sanitation and workplace safety practices are adhered to throughout the scope of the job
Other projects and duties as assigned
Current Schedules available: 4 days a week/ 10 hours shifts
1st shift leaves between 5AM-7AM returning when the route is complete, roughly between 3-5PM
2nd Shift leaves between 12PM-2PM returning when the route is complete, roughly between 9-11PM
Qualifications (the following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated):
- At Least 21 years old- must be off Provisional License
- Must Be able to pass drug and background check
- Must be able to drive in DC, Baltimore, Virginia and surrounding areas
