As the sole Ophthalmologist at UPMC Kane, you will have the autonomy to build and shape the service line, supported by a team of experienced healthcare professionals. Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat eye diseases, injuries, and disorders. Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and other treatments to manage eye conditions. Perform surgical procedures, including cataract removal and glaucoma treatments. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of an Ophthalmology residency program. Valid state medical license. Experience in performing ophthalmic surgeries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
