*PART TIME NIGHTS*

Psychiatric ED Unit Highlights Specialized psychiatric emergency unit, located within the Main ED.Patient are triaged through the Main ED & brought to crisis unit if psychiatric care is needed.
RNs care for them & complete assessments as the patients wait for evaluations.
Adult & pediatric patients are treated.
Security has a strong partnership & presence with the unit.
Staffed with psychiatric counselors and RNs.
Cross-training to adult inpatient psychiatric and Child & Adolescent Psych Unit provided. Available Roles: Part Time Nights: two 12-hour shifts and every 3rd weekend (full benefits)

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs-from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year of RN experience required; 1+ years of inpatient psychiatric or Psych ED RN experience strongly preferred.
• Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross) within 90 days.

This position has a hiring range of

USD $37.10 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
