Title: Scale Operator Job ID: 1949-1 Client: Cargill Duration: 3+ Months with possibility of extension. Pay Rate: $18/hour on W2. Location: 2930 LAKE GUNTERSVILLE PARK DRIVE, GUNTERSVILLE AL Shift timings: Monday Through Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours can sometimes vary but will always be the day shift. Note: Must have steel toed boots. Cargill will provide the rest of the basic PPE. Job Description - The Scale Operator is responsible for operating the scale in an accurate, efficient manner providing excellent customer service.
- As a Scale Operator, you will weigh inbound and outbound grain; Provide a high level of customer service by displaying courteous, helpful, knowledgeable interaction and behaviors.
- Be an involved/engaged member of a team.
- Maintain the general appearance of the facility to include scale room, office building, breakroom, etc.
- Ability to problem solve and make decision as needed.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Grain Grading knowledge is a plus.
