Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Logistics Administrator I is to safely carry-out the duties required at the Truck Scales including but not limited to; weigh trucks in and out; sign drivers in/out: electronically print truck load picklists; make sure drivers wear required PPE; maintain daily/weekly/monthly reports; prepare bills of lading; ensure trucks have right equipment for the load; verify allowable weight tolerances; maintain appointment schedule book on CarrierPoint; complete scale and radiation monitoring tests following radiation safety plan; have the ability to run both in/outbound sides unassisted; assist other Truck Scale gate teammates.

This position works on a rotating shift.

Nucor teammates are expected to participate in and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas of the site within our Quality Control System.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Willing to work rotating shifts (days and nights), weekends, holidays, and scheduled/unscheduled overtime.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • AS400 proficiency

  • Experience/education in manufacturing environment or shipping/logistics.
