School Secretary 12 Months
Answers phones and directs calls/takes messages.
Answers doors, greets visitors and provides necessary assistance/direction.
Manages the Raptor system to provide visitors appropriate access.
Scanning, sorting, filing and other clerical work as needed.
WinCap updates for name changes.
Manages Vector training program, adding new hires as needed.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Other duties as described by Chautauqua County Civil Service job description.
Use of the Spanish language (reading, writing, translation) preferred.
Needed: Immediately
7 ¾ hours/5 daysMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school diploma and:
A. Completion of two (2) years of training in a recognized business or secretarial school with emphasis
on secretarial practices, and one year of clerical experience; OR
B. Completion of one (1) year of training in a recognized business or secretarial school with emphasis on secretarial
practices, and two (2) years of clerical experience; OR
C. Three (3) years of clerical experience, two of which shall have involved secretarial duties; OR
D. Any equivalent combination of experience and training as defined by the limits of A, B and C above.
