We are seeking a senior Product Manager to join the Enterprise Model Platform (EMP) team to drive the strategy for EMP Pipelines. Supporting hundreds of developers, EMP Pipelines enables users to orchestrate scalable, portable pipelines that can build and train AI models. By building the tools that unlock the power of AI, our team plays a central role in creating individualized, real-time experiences that improve the financial lives of millions of customers.
The senior product manager will be accountable for the orchestration engine of EMP Training. Hundreds of users rely on EMP Pipelines, powered by Kubeflow Pipelines, to train and tune ML models. These models power some of Capital One's most critical businesses from fraud detection to credit risk to financial loss forecasting. This product leader will be the primary advocate for these users, transforming user feedback and market opportunities into a clear product roadmap that drives efficiency and innovation. The role of Pipelines is growing rapidly, extending to support model development with highly sensitive human data and internally developed large language models. This role requires a dynamic leader who can navigate the complexities of enterprise platforms and demanding customers to carve out a roadmap that drives Capital One's business through cutting-edge AI capabilities.
Championing the User: Serve as the voice of the user to turn pain points into meaningful UX improvements. Manage a user communication strategy derived from ongoing surveys and feedback gathering. Fully own the user journey from onboarding to progression.
Driving Platform Excellence: Enhance platform efficiency and performance by creating robust user analytics dashboards, managing intake requests, and partnering with tech teams on compliance and modernization efforts.
Strategic Execution: Work across the platform with product and tech leadership to shape a roadmap that centers the user experience, promotes a well-governed platform, integrates with the converging ecosystem of products, all while pushing the envelope on new AI-driven capabilities.
You are passionate about technology and have a genuine understanding of the challenges faced by engineers, data scientists, and analysts. You enjoy finding ways to make complex processes simpler and are not afraid to dive into the technical details of how our systems connect and deploy. As a strong communicator, you can effectively lead discussions with everyone from our technical teams to senior leadership. You stay current with the latest tools and trends in data, machine learning, and AI, and you are a vocal supporter of high-quality work. Your knowledge and drive will be key to pushing our technology forward and creating better, data-driven experiences at Capital One.

At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
Experience leading product management for enterprise platforms, MLOps, data science, or internal developer tools
Familiarity with cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).
Industry recognized professional certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, SAFe Product Management, AWS Security, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect)
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Cambridge, MA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Chicago, IL: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
McLean, VA: $193,000 - $220,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
New York, NY: $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Richmond, VA: $175,500 - $200,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
San Francisco, CA: $210,500 - $240,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
