We are a publicly-traded manufacturing company (C-Corp) with a long-standing history of providing innovative products and solutions to our customers. Our organization has a strong commitment to investing in our employees, and we are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our accounting team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will prepare federal and state tax returns. This will be a hands-on role reporting into the Tax Director.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for C-corp, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations

• Assist with the development/implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities

• Coordinate and manage tax audits and inquiries

• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulations, and communicate any changes or updates to the appropriate stakeholders

• Work collaboratively with external tax advisors and consultants as needed

Minimum Requirements for the Tax Associate Position:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Demonstrated interest in the Tax field

Minimum Requirements for the Senior Tax Associate Position:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
2+ years of relevant and progressive tax accounting experience
Federal and state compliance experience for C-Corps
System savvy and proficient in Excel
