ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Sacramento, California.
Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nRegistered Nurse - PACU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• 2 years of PreOp/PACU experience required
\n• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
\n• Care for patients across all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Daily census of 70-80 patients with 34 rooms and beds available
\n• No weekends or holidays required
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)
\n• Epic charting system experience highly preferred
\n• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
\n• Skills include pre-op assessment and education, post-operative care, pain management, conscious sedation monitoring, emergency medications, and various surgical specialties
\n• Experience with Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery
\n• Must complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average)
\n• 50 miles travel requirement applies
\n• Two references from within the last year required
\n• Background check policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission
