\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts with telemetry patients
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 across all shifts
\n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for three 12-hour shifts
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Must work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period
\n• Required certifications: BCLS and NIH; ACLS and CPI preferred
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Must float within scope to meet facility needs
\n• RTO limited to 7 days maximum
\n• Must have telemetry and cardiac rhythm reading skills
\n• Experience with cardiac medications and drips (no titration)
\n• Navy scrub color required
\n• No artificial or nail enhancements allowed
\n• No crocs with holes permitted
\n• Must work weekends and holidays
\n• EPIC charting system experience required
\n• Care for adult patients with cardiac conditions including TAVR, pre/post cardiac surgery, and chest tube management
\n• Must be comfortable with external pacemakers and monitoring chest tubes
\n• Skills required include blood product administration, central line care, heparin protocols, and dysrhythmia interpretation
Facility:
\nThis acute care hospital features 233 staffed beds and operates a comprehensive telemetry unit specializing in cardiac care. The facility utilizes EPIC charting system and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The telemetry unit maintains a 28-bed capacity with a daily census of 14 patients, focusing on cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring and specialized cardiac procedures.
